I truly think our starting linebackers are as good as any other starting 3 across the NFL. Our defense would be a lot better if our o-line was good enough for us to run the ball and keep them off the field most of the game. But our linebackers are getting better and better every game. We will be set when Thomas Davis comes back!

But that begs to question do you put Davis back in there with a unit thats already working so well together for most of the season? I mean by the time he gets back it'll be close to a year since he's played in a game, he's gonna be rusty.

I would not put him in cause I tore my ACL skateboarding, and it really takes about two years before it mends on both ends of whatever you choose to fix it with. Plus he just got it fixed last year, so I would put him on IR now and move on.

      The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.

      I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.

      lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
