What do you think we can get for Peppers.

Yes plz. I think it would be hilarious if Peppers got traded to Detroit.

You apparently do not understand how this deal will work. Peppers has as much...if not more say...in who he gets traded to. Any deal that gets done will be contingent on Peppers signing a long-term contract.

The Lions could offer 5 1st round picks...and he would not go there, unless Peppers wants to play there.

Peppers holds alot of the cards in this game. We have to be willing to have him hold-out or play under the 1 yr Franchise Tag.

MadHatter, you are exactly right. And if Peppers hold's out, he would only be hurting himself. That is more than $1 million per game he would be missing out on!! So I don't really thing that is an option. He will not be in a Panthers uniform next season, the only question is, what will we get for him? I just hope we get at least 1 first round pick.

He especially has the leverage now that he's already decided and told the world what type of defense he wants to play in. Add to that and he can veto pretty much any trade if he doesn't want to go there. For us to get anything in return he has to agree with that team to negotiate a new contract. So yea pep holds most of the power in this and most reporters are reporting that.

I read that Peppers doesn't necessarily want to play in the 34 defense. He would be fine with the Chicago Bears who run the 43 defense. He just wants out of Carolina, plain and simple. His agent said that, even if we switched to the 34 defense, he would still leave, so that says a lot.
