Pep will have a career day on Sunday

Did you guys ever see a Panthers practice where Peppers was going up against Gross? I'm not sure I EVER saw Gross beat him...and he's our top lineman.
happened all the time. he's played against and shut down much better than peppers. he knows everything that peppers can do. if anyone knows how to shut down peppers, it is the team that he played for his whole career. doubtful he's learned anything new...he just isn't capable of it.

He will have a good game. He has something to prove we do not. We just want to win. Guess what? We wanted to do that last week too and the pocket didn't protect Jimmy. I'm sure Jimmy watched the Bears game saying, "poo". We can still win the game easily though. But there will be stats on Pep's side.

we have had something to prove all season long. Don't u think rookies in their first year and players playing for contracts don't have something to prove? Yet we still have laid eggs in all 4 games.
more likely to prove it this game than any other one so far.

Gross is irrelevant. He won't even be wasted blocking Peppers when we can chip him with a running back and he'll quit and wait for the next play.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
