Should They Just Do Fox A Favor By Just Firing Him?

Looking at Fox lately is like looking at Jake when he was performing horrible. Just watching him stand on the sideline with his little head set and shades on while everything falls apart on the field makes me shake my head

Should they just get rid of him to save him from the embarrassment for the reason of the season. Because its not going to get better, we should accept that. And lets be honest, this isn't all his fault. I kinda feel sorry for him. Let him walk, visit other teams during their games and get acquainted with other teams so he could make a better decision about his future

Should we?

no. we'd still have to pay him. just let him run out the contract and then find a real replacement. likely all we would get is someone promoted from within. i wouldn't be opposed to meeks but i'd also rather not go into the next offseason with one person at all entrenched in the job.

Yall dont care that the possibility of going winless could hurt Fox career, because the coach a lot of time takes the blame... after all the work he's put in here?

Its sorta like a Smith scenario

Fox is respected in league circles. This season wot hurt him.

Not to mention, we've been in situations like this numerous times during the Fox era, and the man always gets things straightened out-and if he does that this year his stock will only go up.

So let me ask another question. If fox is fired mid-season, what yall going to say then. Are you going to disagree with the move

Does it matter whether we like it or not? The only valid reason I can see firing him mid-season is if:

A) There's a chance another coach can turn it around, ie, Fox has lost the team or something.

B) There's a chance to get a particular coach ownership really wants prior to someone else getting him.

Barring that, just let him finish the year, but if they fire him, they fire him.

i don't think it would help the team at all...just frustrate them. i don't care if it's a mercy killing for fox. he's not my concern.

i've been calling for his firing for several years now but since it's reached this point it's better if we just finish it out.

if they fire him i probably won't have much of any reaction. at this point it would be just another thing that happens this season. all you can do is shrug.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
