Just curious if anyone has played this yet, reviews and video look unbelievable. I am downloading the demo now. Heard one review say it was the best sports game ever made. We shall see...

It's too early for me to call it the best sports game ever since I've only been playing it for 2 days. MLB 10 The Show is currently the best ever in my opinion. But I'm loving 2K11 so far after hating 2K9 & 2K1O. I've been playing NBA 2K games since the Sega Dreamcast, and so far I think 2K11 might be the best B-ball game that 2K has made. But only time will tell...

I was the same way, when Jordan left I lost a lot of interest in the game, I kept up with the Hornets until they were a wash and now the Bobcats....... well no comment.

I remember on the old school systems you could never play as Jordan so I think this will be worth the purchase based on that alone. Plus they have redone his top ten moments and you get to play through them, that's pretty cool. I played the demo and it is has very solid game play. The crown animation is second to none, this is the first sports game that a seasoned gamer and sports fan could actually mistake the video game for the real thing.

I haven't played Fifa 11 but I played the show for a while and wouldn't put it over 2k11 which definitely takes sports game of the year in my book.

I pretty much agree with this. Although I only played the FIFA 11 demo, I plan on picking it up when the price drops.

After playing 2K11 the last 2 weeks, I still think MLB 10 The Show is best sports SIM ever released. There are certain aspects of 2K11 that make me raise my eyebrows. And that's why I can't put 2K11 above The Show. But it's very close. Although I'm certain 2K11/FIFA 11 will win sports game of the year on almost every site. No way will they give that award to an exclusive baseball title.

That's 4 great sports titles that you can't go wrong with. If only Madden would step its game up.

Just got this game. Put it on pro, 12 minutes, and it actually felt real and I had fun. I usually blow pro difficulty out of the water, but this was challenging. I'm sure I'll have to bump it up once I get the hang of it. You can't do dumb passes, the CPU will totally jack them. No cheap fast breaks, no easy steals. I sent Madden back after a week to gamefly, think I'll have this for some time longer.

First game, Tyrus Thomas gets hurt for like 10 weeks. I have to do something, so I trade Jackson/Diaw to Denver for Nene/Harrington. Hope it works out and Henderson steps up.

      I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....

      It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.

      That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
