I remember just two years ago (2k9) when you could slang the ball into the paint, post up, and get easy buckets all game long, which made the game boring aftet a while.

This game is unlike anything I've ever played. Defo the best basketball game ever, and maybe the best sports game ever.

Just beat Orlando by like 4. It felt like a playoff game.

This game is just amazing. Other than Vince Carter hitting 10 3's on me and scoring 50 points in that game, most things have been legit.

Even the flow of the game feel like you're watching it on TV...it will frustrate you at first because you want to go faster, but you get used to it.

Another thing is the attendance. For once, the fuging Nets don't have 30000 people screaming and jumping for 48 mins.

I really don't have any real complaints with this game.

Maybe EA knew they couldnt compete with 2K this year..

The "My Player" mode has some kind of freeze up issue. I can't resume my career.. anyone know how to fix this?

And the game is simply amazing and addicting.. the crowd goes absolutely nuts in close games, it is like no other basketball game I have ever seen. There are bugs here and there but overall is well worth it

I didn't like 2K9 or 10. I thought they were terrible by NBA 2K standards. But 2K11 is very good. Definitely worth getting.

Just bought 2k11. Awesome game. I haven't bought an NBA basketball game in years but this one is great. Love the My Player mode.

Best sports game of the year. Barely beating FIFA, IMO.

The knock on this game is controlling the players. At least for me, it's just hard to control your guy, they get turned around way too easily.

The only gripe I have is that it seems like it would be impossible to be drafted in the lottery. I've created 3 different players in My Player mode and the best I was able to do was get drafted like 21st. Then when you go into the real season, you see other rookies that were drafted and their overall rating is like 75-80, while you start out at 40. You can improve throughout the year, but so far I'm still only rated about 49. I'm still doing OK though. I was second string playing about 12 minutes a game until about the 5th game when I was listed as a starter. I've played about 16 or 17 games so far, and I'm averaging about 19 pts a game, 5 rebounds.

If it weren't for Kevin Durant, I'd be averaging about 30 a game though, because he jacks up everything he gets his hands on (so do I).
