Check in and show love for Chris Harris

The season the Bears traded Chris to the Panthers, the Bears played a Thursday night game. I went up to a local sports bar in Ballantyne to watch the game and was the lone Bears fan in there watching. Chris comes in shortly after and sits down beside me at the bar. I glance over and immediately recognize him and say, "Hey Chris, welcome to Charlotte" and shook his hand and we proceeded to have a great conversation there throughout the game talking about the Bears, talking about the game that was on- hearing him talk about the formations the Bears were in lead me to believe he'll be great in a booth or studio whenever he retires. He was a very, very cool guy and the conversation was just like any you'd have at a bar with the guy sitting beside you. It was cool. Best part about it was that nobody there had any idea who he was! lol

That's priceless right there!

I had, and still have the utmost respect for Chris Harris. Like someone said on here already, he made himself available to fans. Still does.

He may have gotten burned on some coverages, but he sure brought a LOT to this team.

That sucks... I'm always VERY careful about who I but an authentic jersey for. Just bought Beason, think that's about the safest buy on the team right now.

None of them are safe except maybe Steve Smith or Kasey. Even if Smitty leaves for a few years he will still retire a Panther. I wear a Sam Mills jersey on game days. It never goes out of style.

CAROLINAAAAAA! MAN, I’m excited to get back home!

I feel like I can call Carolina “home,” because I made it my home once I moved over there in ‘07. Actually, it’s where I plan on living when I’m done playing football, so to get to come back and visit while we’re playing the Panthers is something I’ve really been looking forward to.
