What do u think on Fox not wanting to draft a first round qb?

I think if the right QB is available, Fox will draft him no matter the round. Had Matt Ryan been available at 13 last year he would be a Panther, no doubt.

Yeah, our staff was REALLY high on Ryan, looks like they were right.

Next year should be a good year for QB's, so I could see them going with a QB in the first round next year, assuming they aren't high on Moore or McCown that is.

This year I believe we just have too many needs ahead of QB (such as D-line) to take one in the first round this year.

He doesn't have patients for young QBs because he really wants a QB who is SMART with the football first and foremost and young QBs have a tendency to jump the gun. The problem that Fox has, is that our defense isn't good enough for a clock management offense. Our secondary is to pathetic for that sort of setup.

I don't think Fox has ANY CLUE what he likes in a QB, nor does he have the skill(or patience) to groom one up.

Thats just some of Fox's BS! Could be he knows that is is not the kind of coach that can work with a rookie QB and make a winner out of him.

i think fox whould take a QB but the ones he has shown interest in get drafted before he could get them
