And within the first five minutes of the game (if even that long) a security person came down and told my row and the row behind us that we'd have to sit down and that the only time we could stand was on 3rd down.

We heckled the guy for a bit and he apologized, but said he had to tell us. Apparently there was a pregnant women 10 rows back who couldn't see because we were all standing.

The surrounding Bears fans loved it tho... Just yucked it up. I told them that in Charlotte you also have to raise your hand and be acknowledged before saying anything, but that didn't last long.

Nobody in this crowd was drunk (I haven't even had a beer today, although that game was enough to drive anyone to drink), beligerent or obnoxious. It's just disgusting to think that this is the way the stadium is being run. It's a football game! How can we expect the players to show any passion on the field when we can even show our passion for them in the stands?

Yeah i hear ya.

I took my 5 year old to the game today and there are just tons of kids at the stadium every game.

so for one game in my life I liked the fact that my sections sits when it is appropriate and stands when it is appropriate. And everyone is polite.

Do people bring 5 year olds to Eagles games?

pregnant women shouldn't go to sporting events if they cant deal with standing people.

what did you pay for the tickets by the way? we need to make a record of who paid what for what section/row so JR can see how worthless the team has become.

My fiancé got them for free from an ex-coworker/friend. No way I'd pay for those tickets.

    • The pro bowl should be brought back, it should be in Honolulu with proper marketing and eyes on it, it should be the nfl subsidizing a week long vacation for guys with their families-with that the one big change to make is to get rid of the fan voting. Have each send a collection of five or six guys they deemed their best and if the rosters get a little wonky personnel-wise, that’s okay. That’s part of the fun. short of that, the only other thing I could recommend is having a similar set-up-no fan voting, teams selecting their best players, and sending them to compete against the chosen players from 31 other teams in real Olympic level sporting completions to see who comes out on top.   seeing the panthers delegates beat the disgusting saints delegates up for the Gold in the rowing competition or the 4x100 relay would actually feed into the competitive nature of fans and give them something to root for. you could even have under armour sell the logo cladded up team gear that the pros wear in these games for money, this stuff basically writes itself if the nfl wasn’t trying to use this event help sell the idea that no defense and lots of passing is a GOOD THING and you LOVE THIS and THE GAMES SHOULD BE MORE LIKE THIS.
