Smith, Thomas, Gettis doesn't sound as bad

I think that picking up Thomas was the best thing that could have happened to this offense.

There, I said it.

I don't think we can appreciate how much a little more experience will help with the WR corp.

I am really hoping that they can get Thomas up to speed on the offense during the bye week. I think he can be really good with the right motivation and has good but not great size.

As for Clowney, I'll have to see it to believe it. The guy sends out Twitters as if he has a job but not a passion. Today's Twitter said he plans to spend the entire day in bed in his hotel room. Other insights include his trip to the mall and requests from followers to hook him up with local charlotte tail.

But I think that these three guys can be good. I am still not buying into LaFell right now. He has DJ written all over him. Clausen learned his lesson about throwing receivers under the bus but the guy was either getting called for penalties or missing routes all game last week. He is no where near ready to play on a consistent basis. But I gess he is the best next option after Clowney.

I have alot of hope for Thomas, from everything I've read he has the potential to be awesome he just butted heads with Shanahan alot. As long as he doesn't cause a distraction and works hard hes fine in my book.

Clowneys tweets show he's trying to get acclimated with the city at least, but the tweet about laying in bed all day and getting food delivered did catch me off guard. Hopefully he's working on his play book with two weeks before our next game and being the second oldest WR on our team it would make sense that he could make a big impact against the 49ers but this is Carolina where nothing makes sense.

    • They are 1 and 9 against the  Bucs in the past 10 games. the Panthers go as young goes.  QB1 ‘s are suppose to dictate and overcome  and elevate Everything the QB does affects every part of the team and Bryce is uneven. Canales and Bryce have  an uneven relationship too  as for Evero, the only thing that might save him is the injury to Baker’s left shoulder and oline injuries. I don’t even know how he is out there   I really feel their season ended last Sunday Canales’ division record isn’t great   Getting owned by the Saints and Bucs isn’t a good look
    • Frankly surprised by the amount of people that want to hang Evero. This was a defense that was almost universally considered the bottom of the barrel before this season started. We’ve managed to stat our way to the middle of the pack whatever that means. Those critical of the zone schemes, what do you want? When even JC is getting burnt one on one by Olave you have little choice. There definitely have been moments where the zone blitz stuff has bit us. That said, are the third string linebackers (and nick Scott) covering poo anyway? This unit had only conceded 10 points going into the fourth quarter despite a litany of bullshit penalties on both sides. Them over performing is the biggest reason we are still in playoff contention.
