Derek Anderson called me this morning and told me he is having Deja' Vu

Awesomeness!!

Fox benching Clausen is one of the most hideous things he has done during his 8 years here. Now, I'm not that big of a Clausen fan right now, and I doubt anybody really cares for Matt Moore at this point, but, does anyone think Moore is going to get better? Does he still have upside? At this point, Fox is just trying to seem as if he is actually coaching. Switching QBs every 2 weeks will get us the first pick in the draft. I don't mind benching a young guy during a game while we're getting our ass beat, but to bench him, for entire games, for a guy that played like poo isn't smart, and has never in the history of the NFL worked.

Look at Derek Anderson. The year before in 2007, he was a pro bowler. He came on strong, looked awesome, and seem as if he was the "future" Ring a fuging bell? Then, he struggles to start the season, the Browns bring in Quinn, he plays shitty, and they get the 3rd pick in the draft....

3 years fast foward. Quinn is string string behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, and Derek Anderson....where is Derek Anderson?

The point is...stop switching QBs fox.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
