Matt Moore = "It's a big deal man". A leader and another reason to thank him...

Remember what I said, he's good with no pressure. This year as the man, top of the depth chart, he's 1-2. In the past when it wasn't his job and he had nothing to lose, he had a decent record.

You keep saying he had nothing to lose but he had his entire career to lose. Please get a new argument. If he comes out those last 5 games like Jimmy did these 3 games, does Moore have a job this year? But you are right no pressure.

And this year's record is too early to judge him on.

I also think the Cowboys in 07 on Primetime in their place. Moore played well. If a few calls go our way we win the game.

I think the Patriots in 09 as well but that wasn't a great game for him.

Cowboys game was in carolina. He did play well and the officiating was awful. Still, they might have been fighting, idk. I assumed they were just coasting like they usually do, lol.

Also, don't know if i would consider a thursday night game primetime. Its probably just me but i don't consider the thursday night games primetime, i guess its because its not like sunday night and monday football where almost everyone cab watch.

If we make the playoff's I'll give you my tickets, I promise! He has no pressure to fail now after we have started 0-5

I coulda sworn it was in Dallas. Oh well, everyone is wrong at least once ;)

Second point has some validity because I forget not everyone gets NFL Network. I still consider it primetime because it was the only game on meaning it was being featured in some sort of way.

I can't speak for others but I'm not hating on him. I never was. Because see, I pull for the Panthers. That includes Matt Moore AND (Yes, this is possible: both of them!) Jimmy Clausen. Unlike you and MooreFanForLife.

Here.....not only have you been hating on Matt ever since you showed up on my radar but you did DURING yesterday's game!

Yesterday during the 4th quarter, after Moore threw an interception you said:

Looked like I predicted it, aside from down, distance and player picking it off. But we know it wasn't his fault.

But I took PantherFanForLife's NFL class and he said Jimmy Clausen was the only QB who cost us games.

You were hoping Moore would cost us the game just to prove me wrong. Now if that ain't blind love for your boy Clausen, and blind hate for me, I don't know what is.

So please, stop pretending like you have been some Moore supporter this whole time. Everyone here knows that's not true. Seriously, MAN UP KID!

I don't know why you would offer me tickets but thanks I guess? Is that some diversion technique from you losing this argument?

He still has pressure. He is playing for a starting job in the NFL, here or elsewhere. I guess we will just have to disagree on what pressure is but playing for your career is something I think most would consider pressure.

I'm 28 years old. And to be honest I'm beginning to sense from your arguments that you are nowhere near that, and I should probably take it a little easier on you.

You're 28 years old and you still say "Man up?" Drop the 2, replace it with a 1, and you're still probably lying by about four years.

But if you don't believe me I'd be happy to give you my address and we can discuss our ages in person.

No argument here, I've seen his play as the clear starter, you have to if you have watched the Panthers this season. I hope he turns out good, but all the hype from the past is nothing, no pressure to win or lose during those games cause Jake was the clear starter when healthy. But he looked good for the first time as the number one guy yesterday, but preseason, sept. 12, and 19, he looked like a lost QB with a lot of pressure, and less than average.

    • yeah, but the actual jersey Bryce Young is wearing is not the same jersey you are buying from Fanatics.
    • i just feel like i read this he says she says poo all the time over & over again  on the internet  TV  work ,in public & then i think back to myself oh what a sick slandermongering world we live in now. ts just like those National Enquirer magazines you find in the grocery store at the checkout counter which are nothing more than complete & utter BS  & more often than not when you assume something then you make an ASS out of U & ME. so chill &  let the courts do their job & if he is guilty well he is guilty  LOL either or this has nothing at all whatsoever to do with Carolina Panthers football
    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
