The Rams just watched a rookie WR nearly catch 3tds and Steve Smith return from an injury to also start returning punts. Matt Moore also showed them a 95 (or so) qb rating.

If you've been sandbagging, now's the time to stop. Should be less guys in the box if Moore can hit some early passes.

DeAngelo is in a contract year. He has every incentive NOT to sandbag. There is just no room to run.

Actually I see that as every reason to sandbag. VJ isn't even playing. Why risk a serious injury going into a lockout?

I'm not saying either are sandbagging but they have just as much incentive as Gettis to work harder this week.

It's not their fault at all the beastly O-line that made them stars is doody. No holes for Jonathan to power through. The only big runs Williams has had were all him. There were big holes that first drive of the Bears game. The rest were doody.

I thought about this the other day too. He has no contract next year and could not even play football. How much worth does he have if he gets banged up this year and there is no football next year? RBs careers are usually short anyway and this is the last big contract he'll get, but not if he's banged up at years end.

Then I said naw, it's DWill and the guy is just too awesome to not go hard.
