Taking son to Baltimore game

We haven't been to a game this year and this is the one we are going to (got free club tickets through a vendor). With Pike starting, D-Will out for the year, and the fact our offense looks like dysfunctional retards, there is very little reasons we can win. EXCEPT for the fact every game I have taken my son, we have won. Now, IF we win this weekend because my son is there, who is willing to throw in cash for season tickets for us next year?

And very possible no Beason this week either. I'm going to the game as well. Looks like it's Steve Smith and the practice squad vs. Baltimore.:ack2:

I am just wondering how old your son is (LOL). If he is 12 or older, he can probably take the Panthers' pummeling in stride. If he is 6 or younger, he won't really know what's going on anyway. If he is 7 to 11, he may get traumatized for life.

He is 9, almost 10. However, he knows more about the Panthers and football in general that most men. He will be fine.

That might mean a lower draft pick next year. Pass.

After today's announcement, I'm sorry TP.

Yeah for real. Worst case scenario, I am out gas money driving down there and back. Got 3 club tickets and parking pass for free through work. I'm sure my son and his buddy will have a good time one way or the other.

However, IF we do win, I will seriously start considering my son's claims he is their good luck charm....lol

Yeah man, that is the brightside. I'm happy for your son, because he will definitely enjoy it regardless. Kids just see the beauty of the game and love it (as well as their team), they don't get that a coach has given up on the idea of winning and is going to walk at the end of the season and all that off-field stuff.

So, that he'll enjoy it still makes it worth the trip. Doesn't mean it won't be hard to watch for you though lol. Enjoy it the best you can though!

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
