Right or wrong the QB will always take the blame but there is no excuse for his play right now. If he can't do anything against arizona next week then that will probably be the end of his Panthers career.

Clausen is NOT a scapegoat.

Clausen is a very very bad rookie QB.

It is funny how simply a move at QB can make an average OL look better or worse yet so few want to acknowledge that the QB play can have a big impact. That is something that can be evaluated on teams not named Carolina. A horrific OL all the sudden gets a functional QB and then things don't look that bad.....funny how that happens.

I'll add this, check out the KC game yesterday....take Cassel out and insert a garbage QB and all the sudden the OL can't block and the offense generates 69 yards of total offense and 0 points.

horrible QB play makes an OL horrible.
