Joe Theisman

And you heard him, he couldn't make it through the game without slobbering all over Michael Vick's d*ck. Brought back horrible memories of when he was with ESPN's Sunday Night crew, and they kept zooming in on his feet, comparing his footwork to Barry Sanders.

I've hated him ever since.

Hell, I used to be a Redskins fan and I actually have Theisman's autograph, but I cannot stand him in the booth.

I love how he explained that the Steelers run defense is based on players filling their gaps. Really Joe? What teams run defense is not based on the defenders filling their gaps? Do you think you're talking to a bunch of 3yr olds, or what?

my favorite quote from listening to the game "Heinz Field, named after the ketchup, the people of Pittsburgh are well known for putting ketchup on things." something along those lines. Guess the NFL waisted too much money putting a 2-12 team against a 10-4 team so they went cheap with the crew.

    • https://x.com/4thand1show/status/1975274357174784272?s=46   saw this this morning and came to post something similar. I didn’t just love the team or the wins, I loved those dudes man. They put everything they had out there every Sunday. You didn’t see a rep where anybody on that field was low effort in that era, and if you did they were quickly sent packing.
    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
