Assuming Luck is drafted, Moore has proven that he is an above average backup QB at worst while no other QB on the roster has shown anything. Based on that and that alone, you must resign him.

Why would you take a guy who who has potential to be a good backup rather than a guy who has proven to be a good backup?

Also, that is pure speculation on your part and many many people have made comments to the opposite about his work ethic and such.

No, I don't like it. Draft Luck, sign a vet and keep Pike. Moore needs to walk and trade Clausen to a team who thinks he still has upside. Unfortunately I fear that an early 4th round pick might be the best we can hope to get for him.

Pike? I know Fox is gone, but he kept Pike off the field for a definite reason. I don't think I would keep Pike if we draft Luck. Luck, Moore, Clausen and St. Pierre would be my options. I don't know why Fox kept Pike off the field (I wasn't at practices), but I bet Fox had a legitimate excuse.

Moore is better than any FA that will be on the market for us. He's said he wants to be here, he was the only QB that showed anything throughout our poo storm season. He will bring tough competition to whoever we keep or bring in. He's been given the poo end of the stick every time he's had a chance to play. I really think he's better than a lot of people give him credit for.

Also with Clausen. I have openly said that he played like a no balls candyass all season but that doesn't mean he won't get better. Don't forget that last season everyone was talking about just how super and amazingly talented JC was and that he was the best guy to come out in a while. Just giving you come perspective here.
