Are you happy with the hiring of Ron Rivera?

Well, your comments are why we are all lucky that you have nothing to do with this franchise.

The recently successful teams have gone the route of young and agressive coordinators....deperate teams have gone the route of hiring re-tread coaches.

And, what other "successful" coaches would you have interviewed other than Cowher and Gruden?

Try and keep up....I will slow down for you.

If you were any slower you would be dead, that's why you follow Richardson's drool so closely....

Crack is whack.....hatter....crack is whack.

i pictured some prep girl from the 80s saying that.

anyways, there are quite a few of us that have been wanting fox out of here for years because he was holding the franchise back. turns out that richardson was seeing the same things.

it ain't all about money. it's about wanting to get someone in here that can get us a ring and fox sure wasn't going to be able to do that.

the dude coached and archaic brand of football and refused to change his ways. he made this team a mess and it was only getting worse.

Yeah. You sound like the rest of the coolaid drinkers. I never said Fox was the answer, but he certainly wasn't the problem. Poor management from Richardson all the way down is the problem. Fox was a lame duck coach this season and has nothing to do with the dismantling of the Panthers. You give him WAY too much credit.

I'm done restating the obvious. Last time. Richardson screwed Fox, the vets and the fans.....take that or leave it, but it is a fact.

was pleasant to watch someone get shredded today.. sadistic? not so much..

Yeah.....Let me know when the shredding is going to happen.

I got Hatter smoking crack and talking to 12 year olds about football, then telling about his Gruden and Cowher genitalia fantasies......then you got the coolaid drinkers who are sucking down Richardson's juice, rather than see the situation for what it is.

blah blah blah.....

Are you happy with the hiring of Ron Rivera? NO

Do I hope he turns out to be the at least as good as John Fox? It's a big crap shoot, but YES I hope he goes to 3 NFC Championships and 2 Superbowls and wins them both.....then Richardson can tighten up his arse cheeks again and cut half the team so the Rivera looks like a loser....then dump Rivera for a cheap Defensive Coordinator......YAY! Let's do it!

There. I'm done. Fo real this time.

    • No PFF grades up yet but the all-22 is up. Just watched the first passing play (Q1 6:45) from 3rd & 2 on the CAR 37 where Bryce scrambled for the first. Dowdle whiffed going low on the blitzing Oluokun, which forced Bryce to scramble. If not for that, that ball was going to XL on a corner route that he'd have been open. Concerning though that Bryce looked like he was staring the route down (which he definitely did on the first INT of the day). This doesn't absolve Bryce as he made several flat out bad plays throughout the game. Also rather damning is that of the 40 drop backs, according to the filters there was pressure on 16 vs. 24 w/o pressure... though I'm questioning the validity of the early filters because the very first play I mentioned is flagged as "no pressure" when there's very clearly pressure. The first INT was a bad play by Bryce. He thought Murray had started dropping deep to cover Brycen Tremayne, but Murray read Bryce's eyes the whole time which stayed on XL. Murray "broke the rule" here and made a play, but he also wouldn't have made that play had Bryce not been staring XL down for most of the route.   Might not get an all-22 review post up until later in the week. I've got a conference next week that I'm prepping for and the family is still reeling from one of our pets passing over the weekend.
    • We're just bad. Canales is not a good coach. Morgan is not a good GM. Young is not a good quarterback.  We haven't drafted well in a long time. All this stuff adds up. And now we're in a situation where no matter who we hire they're going to be starting at a negative because they're going to have to draft good talent and fill the entire team up.  I don't know guys I think we could be bad for a long time.
    • So true.  I would love to have Jim, Dan, or Sean here.  So sick of stinking it up for the first 8 games and then fixing things just to make sure we dont have a top draft pick so we have to trade the farm if we want a top pick.
