Growing up, I would always give my Mama a kiss when saying goodbye, but it seems over the last several years it has morphed into just a good hug... well, this past weekend after stopping by and visiting with her for a bit, upon my exit, I gave my usual hug but also gave a good kiss on the cheek. She stepped back a second and I swear I saw tears well up in her eyes... Neither I nor she said anything about it, but I could tell that it struck an emotional chord with her.

I'll grant that I've gotten a bit distanced from my mom in an affectionate sense as I've grown older, but it really tugged at my heartstrings seeing the emotional reaction in her from such a small thing....

Give your mama a kiss on the cheek this week, boys... and know that it will both make her heart swell and reminisce on the days when you were a younger boy who gave his mama kisses.

So she always have a kiss form me, I had bought my Mom a necklace of a Sterling Silver Hersey's Kiss. In the box it read. "A Kiss to Last a Lifetime!" I buried her with it.
