For those in Wilmington (or anybody, for that matter), the episode where they redo Salt Works II comes on tonight.

I used to love that place growing up. What the f*ck happened to it? Meat an 3 veg was the sh*t back in the day. Best sweet tea on earth. What, did some yankee buy it and f*ck sh*t up?

SW2 is a staple of ours when we are in Wilm. SW1 great dogs too.

I lived in ILM from '79 to '93 before I went off to college. Frontier, Trolly Stop, and SW1 had great hot dogs. SW2 had the best lunch specials. Elizabeths had great pizza. Phily Deli had great cheese steaks. Annables had great $.10 hot wings (on Tuesdays I believe). Wally's had a great Sunday party. Causeway Cafe had great breakfast. Pier 20 had great fried seafood. I could go on and on.

All I want to know is who pays $200k for a name, and recipes that consist of open can, heat, serve? And that is on top of the over $600k for the building and prop. Neither which are anything special. The old owner sure saw those to guys coming.
