^ We'll never have Tiger back... ^He will win more majors, but the Tiger we all loved or hated is gone. This will be a new Tiger... Hopefully better than ever but in all reality I dint think it'll be close... It would be nice to see him dominate another major and soon... Like He did the Masters that one year... I would love to see him do it one more time...

He Did better than I expected tbh with his first tourney back... One things for sure. ^He won't get worse from here. We'll all be watching... To see how He does, to see if he's still got it in him. I hope He doesn't disappoint...

Don't understand the media and some of the public's view that Tiger is done.

For being out 6 months and all he's gone through the last couple years he played pretty well.

No one mentions he finished with a better score this tournament than the beloved Phil Mickelson. I like Mickelson, but he like Tiger has his ups and downs.

Give Tiger 6-12 months of healthy golf and he'll be back.

I don't think he's done... he's clearly having issues now compared to his former playing standards, but he's far from done. He's still young and has decades to come of pro golf. His issues right now are mostly mental... as I said above, his game is fine, it's his putting that is preventing him from scoring well. All of them, except for Steve Stricker and Matt Kuchar right now, are having ups and downs, that is golf. Phil can chip and putt with the best of them, but right now he's back to being wild. You can't score playing army golf.

Yeah, I saw a stat last week about how there are 45 majors until Tiger reaches the same age as Jack when he won his last major. So, if Tiger can get his mind and body back in shape there is no reason why he can't not only catch but pass Jack.

    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
    • my understanding is a big time throw, could be a 5-10 yard slant to Adam Thielen given AT isn't going to separate.
