damn virgil green is a workout warrior @ TE. the 40 time was good/great for a te, but all i want to know is the 10 and 20 yard splits. guys broad jump and vert were incredable. i am much more intrested in the off the line burst guys have than the top end speed. fair production out of that wacky offense in nevada

a late round flier is jordan cameron. usc te that was a former basket ball player. just saying...... why not in the 6th or 7th if you want a tall athletic te to coach up. experiance is nill but triangle numbers are great so far.

1 guy i would love to here more about is jarriel king. USCe can we get a report. sounds like this years bruce campbell from last year.

oh and marcus cannon needs to be the 1st pick of the 3rd round. he is a

mammoth RG that is nimble for his size. he and otah would be a tremendous for any rb we put back there. he came in at a light 358 (played at 370) and looks the part of a mauling G. i dont think he is anything more than a solid RT if forced outside but a beast inside.

Marcus Cannon would be nice but he wont be there in the 3 round would be nice thu

julius thomas of portland state, who some huddler drew attention to a couple of weeks ago as a former basketball player and possible antonio gates protegé, looked really nice catching the ball. i'd say chud is definitely keeping his eye on him.

edit: just looked fantastic in another drill. he looks like a threat in the passing game.

No joke he looks good ....

never thought that dan connor would have made it to the middle of the 3rd either. nor bruce campbell last year. good players fall. if enough teams see him as a OG he just might fall to the 3rd. he is likely one of the only guys i would trade up for if he fell to the middle of the second.

I agree it could happen and I would be happy as hell if it did but I hope that Kyle Rudolph is the player that drops to us at that pick .. Might happen cause of injuries and not participating in the combine

Yeah, that kid looked pretty darn good out there. I wonder what round he will go in?

mallett was apparently a douchbag in interviews. sigh, what a waste......

I hope he gets a PR coach and put him in a atmosphere where can stay out of bad or enabling places ... Cause if not for this he would easily be a 1st round pick sigh:/

as a player he is my #1 qb, as a person he is the worst in the draft. he needs humble pie and a huge dose of it. maybe, maybe, a draft day drop and years on the bench will sober his ass up (figuratively and literally). if not he will be out of the league in a flash. he is jeff friggn george all over. ass hole with the tools to be one of the best.

would not touch until the last pick just so he either takes a year off (fine go ahead punk you would never get a look again) or is ours to store where ever: PS or 3rd stringer. if he acted up show him the door with little to no loss. if he finally got it he would be a gem.

and its not a PR coach thats going to save him. he needs a lifestyle change the stories about him at arkansas are scary bad. his atitude is worse than ryan leaf.

When Auburn’s Cam Newton, another power forward-sized quarterback, addressed the media Saturday, I could see a leader. He was extremely confident (twice he said Cam Newton in third person; that has to stop) but also respectful, intelligent and engaging.

He took charge. He began by reading a statement to address his unfortunate comments last week that he wants to be “an entertainer and an icon.” He finished by explaining character flaws _ he was investigated for stealing a laptop while at the Univeristy of Florida where he backed up The Golden Calf of Bristol _ that the learning process includes making mistakes that are so regretful, you don’t make them again.

Character is a concern with Newton, and so is the fact he didn’t play under center in college. But he is no JaMarcus Russell or Vince Young, another athletic quarterback who was a poor interview.

And Newton is a far more advanced passer, by the way, than The Golden Calf of Bristol was coming out of college last year. I say Newton becomes an NFL quarterback that wins a Super Bowl. Get back to me in 2021.

    • We have taken two TEs in three seasons I think, and Sanders may not pan out or it may have been a sophomore slump, but we took a guy last year that was coming on.  I am not in favor of TE in round one and really don’t consider it a high priority in any round.
    • Trevon Moehrig, Turk Wharton, Bobby Brown, Jaelen Phillips, Devin Lloyd, Nic Scourton Giving him 6 starters in 2 offseasons that cost boat loads of money or a 2nd round pick... Not exactly handing the man scraps. The point of the draft is to make the team better. You want to make this about Bryce. It isn't. It's about improving the team. And if anyone can look at our offense and go "we're good", they are lying to themselves. You give quarterbacks weapons. We SCREAMED for YEARS to give Cam some help. But now because we are trying to do it for Bryce, you all are saying we are coddling him because of his "deficiencies". It's a double-standard because you don't like the guy, clearly. But even if he does fail, guess what? The next guy has help too. Win-win.
    • we have 2 solid/above average (however you want to phrase that) wr's, which is more than half the league at least.  We dont need to be blowing more first round capital just to placate Bryce and his limitations.   We have one absolute stud (probably top 10 wr) in tmac and we have a high floor guy with insane potential if he can stay healthy.  Yeah man we are in better shape than the bulk of the teams in the league.  If you need to add some speed or whatever, sure draft in the mid rounds or wait until tc cuts.  Its monumentally stupid to spend 3 straight firsts on a wr if thats the route they go.  ITs just more and more excuses for Bryce, thats where we are at now.    "How can bryce succeed without a big possession type wr (drafts 2 for him), how is bryce supposed to exceed without a speed guy......."   Its fuging never ending.  Give EE some goddamn help on defense for once
