RICO MADE A $$$ business decision

The play falls under "if they can't stop us, guess we will stop ourselves".  It's another continuation of our staff and front office being the smartest people in the league.

It's similar to Marshawn Lynch running all over the Patriots and then at the goal line Pete Carroll decides a slant to the WR would be brilliant.  Same mindset as a couple of weeks back when we move it down the field running and then have Bryce try to pass at the goal line and throws an INT.

It's like Canales and Co. want us to be amazed at their creativity so they run stupid plays like the flea flicker.  The same logic picks "surprise players" in the draft so we'll be overcome with their brilliance.

It's also a clear loss of context when we were on the move with standard plays.

    • dang, yall are too good.
    • Point #1: Agreed FA TE is the way to go.  Sanders is a TE2 and Evans is a TE that can easily replace Tremble. Point #2: This gratuitous playoff birth screwed us out of Bailey, for certain, and probably Styles too.  Howell and Hill are the next best ones at their positions based on how most Big Boards are stacking up right now, but a reach currently.  I really think one of the OTs will fall and/or a CB.  Mike Jack is decent, but we could use and upgrade.  Point #3: KC Concepcion in the slot is really peaking my interest.  Point#4: Off ball LB will likely be taken later, I agree.
    • I don’t think people realize how much our division rivals have done to improve, I don’t think this season is a fluke but I’ve seen nothing to that indicates this is a replicable performance going forward by this team  Dave has been outperformed by his dc who a year ago fielded one of the worst defense in nfl history, and this year had very little resources dumped into that side of the ball  I just don’t get exactly what Dave does that can’t be replaced by any run of mill winning team oc, my hope is if evero leaves we can get a dc that can maybe carry the offense enough
