You didn't have to drop AT. Even in hindsight, there is not a single logical argument or excuse for why they did what they did. The true answer, is that they were stupid. Just plain, regular real world stupid.

He gets good catches and circus catches, he fugs up both with regularity. Not to mention he is atrocious at getting open.

He will never be even a mediocre WR because doesn't care to be one.
