I don't agree with that. McConkey was clearly the far better match for Bryce. They just had this idea of having a big, athletic X receiver to blow the top off. Unfortunately, he has almost zero ability to do that.

From a snap counts percentage this started a while back. Though it became more pronounced last few weeks.

And they didn’t want to drop AT. They thought they could add to him. 
But the pressure was on for weapons.
