Your not taking a significant risk if you can get the guy after round 3. Matter of fact you shouldn't see him playing at all(outside QB sneaks and gadgets) unless something goes horribly wrong like Bryce goes down. At that point season is lost anyway. If you draft the best athlete possibly at the position ever that ability buys you time on a roster to develop the other tools.

Athleticism is a safe floor for QBs.. can't find the right read? Run.. can't throw completely sucks run.. 70% of NFL QBs don't have that safety net. I'm saying take a late round pick get the superhuman and develop the guy see what happens your not banking on him taking Bryce job.. your banking on his floor which is better than any QB not Cam Newton or Michael Vick.  Again taller and faster than all not Vick. 

Arm is in the same ball park. Except your not paying a premium pick to get the guy he isn't going where Vick Newton or Richardson is going. But he's better than Jalen Milrose right now. If I can get that in a horrible QB class for peanuts, I don't want to hear he's not ready to start or his passing needs work.. well yeah he's a day 3 pick. But his upside is higher than anyone in the class if you catch lightning in a bottle that's what late round picks are for. If he sucks it didn't cost you any thing but a damn pick you would have spent on say Jaden crumedy
