It's a sellers market. A lot of the trades that have happened have been overpays IMO.

While it would be nice to get a 2C, I don't want us trading away our best prospects or our young NHL talent for it

There comes a point when you sh*t or get off the pit this team has every possible advantage this year to put together a cup champion..... cap space prospects ect. 

Its only a "sellers" market because the guys they are looking at arent on expiring deals we have a huge advantage over other buyers due to cap space and the new rules.

if Schenn and Roy are getting 1st rounders +, I can only imagine what the hell the Rags are asking for. Wouldn't surprise me if they are asking for Boom + a couple of 1st rounders

Meh non lotto firsts mean little for most teams the 3rd and prospect are expected, surprising only because they arent a true contender, would have made more sense to not trade Nelson last year.  I WOULD have paid that foe shenn physical big center who can still score a bit?
