i'm fairly certain patrick peterson will have the best NFL career of all these players but the politics of the NFL will result in us taking a mediocre player or a bust player.

stats in college dont always translate that way to the NFL.

^ Everyone knows that but I personally believe "yards allowed" is one of the biggest stats to look at when judging a CB.

Scarily though I read a scout's comment today to the effect that he's horrible with his back to the ball and they will pick him apart if he lands in their division "bombs away".:eek:

Yeah, that caught me eye too. I think he's good in press coverage but not good when he's playing off. I always thought that it's silly to not draft a corner just because we'll be running a lot of zone, since a great corner can still shut down half the field like that. However, if he struggles with the deep zone in our system... not that great.

PS. I still think that Cam would've been the pick if I didn't let people vote for multiple options. My bad :(
