Do you wear hats for teams you aren't a fan of because they look cool? I've got a Bengals hat from the early 90's with the snap back that I wear all the time, looks pretty sweet. Definitely not a Bengals fan though. One time a guy came up to me and went "who dey" and I was like what?? Then I remembered what hat I was wearing and had to explain why I didn't understand him. I recently got a similar snap back Panthers hat, but I prefer the orange over the blue.

Got a friend who wears a St. Louis Cardinals hat all the time but he probably couldn't name a single player on the team. Maybe Albert Pooholes, I dunno. Is this acceptable or sports fan hypocrisy?

and no, I don't wear other teams stuff, although, some of you might remember, I did wear a Smith jersey when they played the Falcons on my first trip to Charlotte as a show of respect to the fine people of the huddle who essentially rolled out the red carpet for me! I did have Seahawk gear on under it though!!!!!

I have a Jaegermeister hat that I wear and I am not a fan of it does that count?

I also have a USF (South Florida) and Air Force Falcons hat that I bought because I liked the look of them. I am not a big fan of either team but I don't dislike them either.

Other than that it is all Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, or Longhorn hats that I have that are sports teams. Most of my hats are more like Puma, Under Armour, Taylor Made, etc...

Yes, I own a lot of hats....I usually wear a hat at the gym and I have this thing about my hat matching the clothes I am wearing.....

      Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.

      if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
