- Locker takes risks (although I would say some are not necessary)

- Locker has a better last name

- Clausen is small

- Clausen isn't charismatic and can never be a leader

- Clausen thinks the RB is the primary receiver

- Clausen had a inury plagued O-Line

- Clausen had rookie WR's

- Clausen had both star RB's out for a long period of time

- Clausen had an emotional/aging SS

- Clausen was a rookie

I didn't see enough from Clausen to believe he will ever be our franchise QB, but I could also say the same about Locker.

Consistency is very important, and we only had 1 season to watch Newton. 1 season. That's not enough for me to feel the need to reach for a QB.

I would take Gabbert over any of them, but that's still a reach.

While Locker is still fairly raw, he at least has a starting point. Jimmy has nothing.

Have said many times Clausen will get his shot. Just not especially optimistic about it right now.

He could prove me wrong, though. It'd actually be a good thing for the team if he did.
