Congrats on the successfull ripoff of our Running back's (Lendale White and Chris Johnson) nicknames, Smash and Dash for your own! Way to be original! I have read way too many posts where some of the Panther Fans are calling the Titans losers, accusing The Titans of stealing it from Williams and Stewart. Just a little fact and Im sure the "knowledgable" Panther fans will admit, Lendale White and Chris Johnson Started publicly referring to themselves in the media as Smash and Dash after Week 7. Williams and Stewart first referrered to themselves as Smash and Dash just 3 weeks ago after a win over The Lions, Week 11. (as most of you probably know.) We even have had Smash and Dash, White and Johnson Tshirts for sale in our proshop and have for nearly 2 months! But Thats fine, If your Running backs are such Identity failures, they have to steal someone elses, well.. its actually kinda flattering

Nice schedule you guys have there....easiest in the league?

Have fun getting WRECKED by the Steelers rofl they will expose the titans so bad.

Btw, the only thing Lendale White will smash is an all you can eat buffet.

Before our old forum crashed, these Smash 'n Dash threads were almost a daily occurence. In every one, I acknowledged that Tennessee had the name first. But you should know that the moniker has been used in the past, and therefore Tennesse is not the originator, but rather the most recent team to borrow the label.

Our running backs make their name on the field. I could not care less if we have a pretty name for the media to brand us with.

    • In terms of enthusiasm at this exact juncture it's a 5 only because regular season football is back and we are 0-0 and there is the development of some key young players that I am very interested in seeing in regular season action. That brief high will probably be knocked down to 1 by October though.
    • I think the preseason performance has caused a "Meh" Cloud  to hover over the fan base.  I still have some interest and while I don't expect a lot of wins, I think there are other things I would like to see in terms of the team at least going in the right direction. On offense is Bryce the guy and is XL moving forward? Is the defense performing better with DB back Are the rookies and 2nd year players developing? That said, for me there is some intrigue but I don't think they will compete for a playoff spot.
    • Well just a few years ago they went to the playoffs and won a playoff game with Daniel Jones at QB. And while the Giants have been up and down at best since their last Super Bowl they have shown to be a more competent organization. While the Panthers haven't so much as sniffed the playoffs in nearly a decade. Logic would dictate that the Giants strategy has a high probability to be at least modestly successful. The Panthers? Eh.
