Yup, and depending on the QB brought in, if the CBA ever gets solved... he probably won't start or play all season, if we are lucky. He needs to sit as he should have last season.

I still have no problem with the pick. Like so many of our other 2nd rounders were and better :D. I think as long as the panthers don't commit to him simply because he was a high pick, it's fine. Doesn't mean that they have to draft a QB with their 1st, but please don't let Clausen's draft status affect your decision making that much.

It can be slow at times. But I worry even more about where his release point is. If he is 6'2 he needs to get the ball over his head and not throw from shoulder pad level or else he will never be able to use the middle of the field.

I have to say, I felt bad for the kid. Fumbling snaps and problems with stuff as simple as clock management.

Yeah, but those are the kind of problems you are going to see with any rookie QB. Just about everyone can overlook rookie mistakes. It's the other stuff with Jimmy that are cause for long-term concern.
