Big thumbs up on that draft. I've been seeing lots of talk of Ras-I Dowling slipping, if we can nab him in the 3rd that's a big win. I honestly don't know a whole lot about Terrell McClain, Ryan Whalen, or Cory Grant, but I really dig the other picks. Not so sure we need another late round project WR, but meh. With our Rd. 3 comp pick we can probably still get Jerrell Powe or Kendrick Ellis and one of those two would definitely make me happy (I like seem to like Powe more than most). I also prefer Julius Thomas to Jordan Cameron, but I wouldn't be upset with Cameron.

That draft would make me very happy.

Ryan Whalen would be a great pickup that late. He reminds me a lot of Ricky Proehl. With a little mentoring from Proehl he might be able to play a similar role in the offense.

I do think we should look at CB with our first 3rd rounder, though. The gap between the corners who go at the start of the 3rd and the end is much larger than it will be with the DT's. We can still pick up a guy with starting ability as a rookie with our comp. pick. I don't know if that's true with the corners who would be left by that point.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
