Not really all that obviously...  he let Theon claim him to be a Karstark when he was messing around with Theon, and then basically told him it was all a lie...

 

IF YOU PAID ATTENTION during subtle moments in season 2, his character was mentioned in one line. But the show hasn't confirmed his actual identity, I don't think.

you'd be surprised how many people miss subtleties like that, though...

Yeah.  I've read most of the first book and when re-watching the first season I noticed tons of things from the book that were subtly in the show(stag banners all over kings landing for example).  Since then I watch a lot more closely.  Just seeing the Bolton's sigil would give it away but they've added many more 'clues'.

GoT is now the second most watched series in HBO history as far as total viewers go, and it is only about 700k away from The Sopranos...

 

Pretty much, it will end up being #1 most likely, and IMHO deservedly so...
