So I was looking at the list of free agents currently on the Panthers roster. Who on this list do you hope we resign after the new CBA is in place. If you want you can factor in who you think we draft or who we actually did draft tomorrow.

Marcus Hudson (wouldn't be upset if we didn't though, he was ok on special teams, ok in his limited playing time, nothing special that a mid or late round draft pick couldn't replace)

Not sure on Rosario - he just can't catch the ball when he needs to. Not a good trait for a tight end.

I'd take King as the back up to Shockey instead of Rosario

Not me, King needs to go. Agree about Rosario with drops, but it really does take some pass catchers 2 or 3 seasons to get rid of the dropsies. Look at Roddy White.

Rosario is already head and shoulders above King. King has nothing to offer a non-John Fox offense. Rosario at least has the potential to be a producer.

Anderson needs to be let go.

Why do you say that? He's just starting to be a high level producer. Sure he missed some tackles occasionally, but the big plays he makes more than make up for it in my opinion. And probably more importantly, we need the depth and insurance in case Davis doesn't make a full recovery.

Speaking of which, I think you forgot Thomas Davis, The_Cannon. He's a must sign IMO too, but at a slightly reduced rate or verbage in contract to protect against more injury.

Someone is going to be on the outside looking in at LB next year. With Beason, Connor, Davis, and Anderson all healthy its going to be an intense training camp.

As much as I like Connor, Beason has to be in the middle and its just unfortunate that he has to be stuck behind him. I think Beason, Anderson, and Davis is our best 3 to start, just due to Connor's restrictions at OLB, he can't do that.

I just think those three can cover so much of the field, and with Beason in the middle, a full year under his belt, and Rivera in his ear he will become more disciplined. At least I hope.

As far as Davis is concerned I think if a LB is available late who's fast/athletic and can play in space I wouldn't be adverse to taking one to fill his spot, or insurance if we keep him, to me Connor is just too limited and lets face it Beason "is dat dude". I really like Anderson as the SAM, he was the biggest bright-sport on defense outside of Johnson, and the flashes of the "Kracken" Greg hardy.
