NYJ - Could show interest in WR Steve Smith

Recommended Posts

Sanchez isn't as great as he's often cracked up to be.

But is he better than Newton? Down the road, who knows? Right now, absolutely.

Sanchez is fuging awful in the regular season, but for some reason I don't understand he completely transforms to an above average/really good quarterback in the post-season. Maybe he just has that clutch gene that many lack.

In most cases, I'll root for Smitty wherever he goes. I don't think I could do that if he went to the Jets(or the Patriots for that matter). I just can't root for a team from NY.

I'm not the world's biggest Joe Flacco fan either to be perfectly honest.

Sanchez and Flacco get a lot of hype because they're young and started early, but I think people are jumping the gun when thay talk about them like they've arrived (even more so with Bradford).

You can add Matt Ryan to that list. Massively over hyped because of their rookie seasons(Sanchez because he plays in NY) yet have proven absolutely nothing other than being carried by a good team.

Is a Ring 89's ultimate goal here? I find that hard to beloved if he's willing to go to Oakland, reportedly of course. At this point, I don't care where he gies as long as we get more than a bag of dirty diapers for him.

i still dont think it's a great idea to trade Smith unless they get a go to reciever to replace him, going into the year with LaFell and Gettis as our number one and two recievers is very risky. As for the Jets and Smith, for some reason, i dont see that. i COULD see Oakland (which would be dumb on his part) San Diego (which would be wise on his part), but i think the Jets are the team that gets Moss and likely they re-sign either Holmes or Edwards as the other reciever, but i wonder why Smith would want to be a Jet. Sanchez is inconsistant at QB, i know people like him, but if he would stay healthy, i think Stafford is better.

Wait did someone really say Matt Ryan hasn't proven anything....I fuging hate the Falcons like all of you but Matt Ryan obviously is the real deal. In three years he has completed 60 percent of his passes, thrown for over 10,000 yards, had a 3-1 TD to INT ratio last year and has an average QB rating of 86.9 with a high rating of 91 last season. Don't tell me their offense is making him look better, he's a huge reason that offense is so good. Like I said I hate him and hope he falls off the map this season but he is a big time QB...

I don't mind where ever Steve is traded to as long as the panthers get something in return, hopefully a player that is starter material. If not more than a 4th rounder keep him around, like how the Chargers kept Vincent Jackson last season and will continue to keep him until they get something high for him. Play or ride the bench and shut up.
