When dealing with aches and pains

Are you the kind of person who goes to the doctor to find out whats the matter or do you just deal with it?

I realize it depends on the kind of pain you're having but lets just say it's something that is not an emergency but is something that has been bothering you.

I'm dealing with this right now. Strange abdominal pain that can be intense but comes and goes. I just wait until I know something is really wrong then deal with it. I'd hate to pay a copay and clog up the doctors office for gas

for aches and pains, omega 3's. if it lingers too long or is very painful, get it looked at.

i do think far too many go to the doc at the drop of a hat while just as many avoid too long.

i try the natural route first, see the results and then go from there.

In Feb I woke up early one morning because I felt like I was having a heart attack. Being the tight wad I am, I decided to see if it was just a bad case of heart burn and I took something for it and went back to bed. I laid in bed wondering if I should wake Dan but I didn't. I ended up calling him at work about 9am that morning and told him I thought I was having a heart attack because the symptoms got worse. After discussing it and calling my GP we decided it was best to go to the ER. GP asked me would I rather be safe or dead. So i went and after all the tests they took they told me nothing was wrong and sent me home with a Dx of Acid Reflux. I've never had acid reflux in my life. And I still was having episodes like what happen in Feb. I went to my GP, he gave me an acid reflux pill to take and it didn't do anything for it. Since then I've drastically changed my diet but I still have these episodes. I'm still not done getting bills from that visit to the ER.

Someone recently suggested that it might be stress and maybe reducing anxiety would help. Anyone have any xanax they'd like to sell me?

I don't have any myself but I could definitely find you some.

You should go with my prior/Z's current suggestions though :coolgleamA:

Ive got some new pain killers that just came on the market the Dr gave me on Friday

hit me upppp:D

What are they?

I don't like taking new drugs. I fear I'll be watching tv one day and see the commercial "Have you taken Fukitol in the past? Do you now have an extra limb or loss of a limb? If you have taken Fukitol in the past and have had these symptoms please give us a call."

Its called Nucynta. Basically kinda like a Percocet almost.

I originally had Oxycodone, but these things are way stronger. I take a half of one and I'm feelin pretty good for a while.

The only bad thing about them is they make you a little more loopy so you are more likely to not function well and want to just go to sleep, whereas with Oxycodone, you are fuged up, but you can still function normally...well, at least I can.

As many aches and pains as I've had I can usually identify them, if it's something new I will wait it out to see if it will go away on it's own. They usually do over time. I rarely go to the Doctor's office. I will try to treat it myself or ask a Pharmacists before I'll go to see a Doctor.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
