Can someone shed some light on this idea that Newton is dumb?

HAHA....here are the "reputable writers"

Mike Miller (Russell Article)

http://bleacherreport.com/users/172075-mike-miller

He has written 22 articles.

Gerald Ball (Cam Newton article) is so well known he doesnt even have a bio. His 108 articles speak for themselves.

This is really sad.

I think you missed the point. That took 2 seconds and the article wasn't the guy on the bleacher report questioning his intelligence. It was him giving him advice on how to stop everyone else from questioning his intelligence. Do you really need me to find an article questioning Russell's intelligence??

Again the other article was talking about when a coach questioning Jason Campbell's intelligence. There are also several fans in Washington that made it a habit to question Campbell's intelligence while he was there.

Premature much? Why didn't you do any bit of research on these articles? AGAIN, any crack pot can say racist things. Explain to me how a CUSTOMER SERVICE REP who moonlights as a stand up comic is the "posterizing" anyone?

You guys are the ones that need proof. I already know what the deal is. I've personally been discriminated against and had racist things done and said to me. I don't know about the customer service thing. Was that a missed joke or something?

I'm confused....I thought I asked for this:

Great....find me a similar (reputable) site which questioned the intelligence of black QBs.

Can you do that?

Scot posted from Pro Football Weekly....and you found a CS Rep/stand up comic....while others celebrated victory afterwards. What point did I miss?

I also am enjoying the fact that you think it is okay for people to call black QBs stupid as long as it is on the bleacher report.

Because I assure you that black QBs are thinking I don't mind being called stupid for no discernible reason from the 99% of the population that doesn't work for ESPN. But if ESPN ever did it that would really bother me.

I can't believe you guys still argue this. There are racist people who question Cam because he's black. There are also people who question his because he has made dumb decisions. You can't prove which reason applies to which person so why argue about it

So anything said about Cam Newton you claim is racist is racist because you say so? Really?

I already know what the deal is. I've personally been discriminated against and had racist things done and said to me.

No doubt you have...and I think anyone who does such things (TRULY racist things/discrimination) are despicable. I simply dont see how saying something negative about Cam = racism.

I don't know about the customer service thing. Was that a missed joke or something?

Thats because you did zero research before claiming victory....the writer of one of those articles is a Customer Service Rep who is also trying to be a stand up comic. These are Teeray's "reputable" sources that you claimed "posterized" the opposing stance.

Still has not fully grasped the mental aspect of calling his own game yet, and will need to have the plays called for him until he can prove that he can handle play-calling on his own.

This is different one for Jason Campbell. He scored the same as Peyton Manning on his wonderlic score and came from an NFL offense at Auburn.

Now you are really reaching in an attempt to backpedal from your ridiculous sources. So he's never called his own game = not intelligent? You are really desperate here, and it shows. I am sure other serious reaches are coming?

 Not reaching just happened to fall upon that one and decided to throw it out there.

Since I provided that for you and you think I am reaching please refer me to an article from a reputable source that has a white QB that scored a 28 on the wonderlic score, had a 3.0 gpa in college, quarterbacked an undefeated team in college while running an NFL offense, that wrote that the QB that "and will need to have the plays called for him until he can prove that he can handle play-calling on his own." PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find me that one and then tell me I am reaching

I am actually enjoying the fact that you are genuinely excited that people writing about how many people are questioning these guy's intelligence is proof that I am wrong.

"LOL. Guy on bleacher report wrote that several people are questioning people's intelligence... but it is bleacher report so guy is a liar!11! Really no one is saying that and he is just making stuff up to type about because it is only bleacher report!!!11!11"

 Yeah but I am the one reaching

I'm not saying that everything said about Cam is racist. You have to spice things up to make it look like we're over reacting. I bet I can spot some racist poo quicker than you. I don't have to look at the articles because I've seen these guys get drafted and have been watching football for a long time. I seen with my own eyes and I've heard with my own ears black QB's be questioned about their intelligence. I've seen most black QB's switched to other positions while white QB's much worse at the spot get the chance to play QB. People wanted to see something in writing and Teeray showed you then you had to dig and do background checks on the authors. On the actual subject, Cam has had his intelligence questioned, work ethic questioned, people have called him a thug, he's been called all type of names including racial slurs. Again I'm not saying everything negative about Cam is racism, but when I see it I call it out and people are quick to say it's the race card.

Which QB was this? I'm gonna get really bored if you make me read articles composed by stand up comics..on football..its hard to keep up. Is the claim correct? Did he have all his plays called for him?

Again, you are sadly backpedaling...no doubt to be expected from an embarrassing post. I never said anything like "Really no one is saying that and he is just making stuff up". I said that any crack pot (like a customer service rep who moonlights as a stand up comic, your source of choice) can post any random thought they want. It doesn't mean that REPUTABLE outlets question his intelligence, and it certainly doesn't mean that anything negative they say about his is racially motivated. This is proven by the tactics you are forced to resort to in order to back up your point. I'm half expecting for the next article to be "Black QBs in the NFL" by Billy Joe Clampett...world champion tomato grower and amateur juggler.

So what is your opinion on the "reputable source" since you seem to take offense at me merely doing some research before I call a source "reputable"?

Again, I dont doubt idiots in a bar or on a street corner say racist things. I'm still waiting to hear them from a reputable source...which is where most intelligent people cite from.

That is from the USA Today article about Jason Campbell. Jason Campbell ran an NFL offense in college, scored a 28 on the wonderlic, had a 3.0 gpa, had an undefeated season, yet the USA Today doesn't think he has the mental acumen to call his own plays in the NFL.

I am not backpedaling. And I am glad you have claimed victory off attacking a guy who didn't make the claims on the QBs in question's intelligence in the first place but was simply commenting on the people who were. Which proves in your excitement to try to make fun of someone on the bleacher report you completely whiffed on the larger point.

Frankly you are doing what people who failed do. You lost the major point so you are trying to find a small victory to hang your hat on.

Why would I backpedal?

Scot's post was on recent QB's and their intelligence wasn't questioned and you gave him pie like he proved a point. Teeray showed us articles where Qb's intelligence and mentality were questioned. I dont see why it matters how reputable the sources are. What matters is their intelligence is being brought up that his whole point of the post. Scot's post proved nothing; if anything it proved teeray's point because no one questioned their mentality.
