Streak for the Cash

And no, I'm not talking about running down the street nude, ala Will Ferrell in Old School. Is anyone else addicted to the free ESPN game as I am? 27 straight correct picks gets you a million dollars. In the last segment I got to 10 before making the colossal mistake of picking the Virginia Cavs to beat the Clemson Tigers in football. I'm sitting on a streak of 5 now. What's the most that you've gotten so far?

I'm on a 10 game winning streak now, thanks to Albert Pujols scooping up Obama's pitch which barely made it over home plate. What makes it so bad, is that I would be on a 17 game streak right now if it hadn't been for Barry Zito pitching 8 innings and giving up zero runs to the Marlins a couple of weeks ago (against Josh Johnson no less!!).

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
