Welcome Broncos fans!

How has your run D been lately BTW?

Last game I saw of yours it wasn't so swell (Pats) but that was a while ago.

Better actually. Rookie LBs Spencer Larsen (Arizona) and Wesley Woodwayd (Kentucky) have breathed life into the LB corps and rookie Josh Barrett (Arizona State) is greatly helping fix what was possibly the worst Safety tandem in the league (Marquand Manuel and Marlon McCree:nono:). Now that DJ Williams is coming back, Woodyard may go to Strong Safety where his size is actually a better fit than OLB. And you may have also noticed in that New England game that Randy Moss was held in check until Champ went down to injury. 2 TDs by Moss later it was over. Well Champ should be back so we're all excited to see this version of our D against a legit opponent.

Btw, I'm sorry about Hillis. Whats happened to your running backs is just unfair. Every time Ya'll loose one, you somehow bring in another one who lights up the field. I really think that next year, Hillis and Torrain are going to be stars.

Mike Shanahan's system injures RBs I think... not on purpose, but just a theory. Terrel Davis sadly left the game early, and theres been ALOT of RBs to start for Denver since TD, hell, every time I see the Broncos play, there is usually a different RB starting.

Davis injury was not system related. Brian Griese threw an INT and while TD chased the defender, Matt Lepsis dove to make the tackle and blew up Davis' knee.

Mike Anderson started at a bit of an older age and actually played a while for Denver. He smokes the reefer and wasn't re-signed.

Portis was traded for Champ Bailey.

Tatum Bell fumbled too much and pissed off Shanahan.

Now this year has been full of injuries, but I don't think it's necessarily system. Torain is ALWAYS hurt and Selvin was injury prone and smallish in college. Hillis got hurt trying to jump for a pass that Cutler threw too high and came down awkardly.

Now I do wonder if our training staff may play a part, but I don't think the scheme is to blame.

And welcome aboard. I respect the Broncos because of John Elway. He is part of how I discover them. Oh, be careful when you encounter Black Widow. She is an insane Raiders fan here beside looking pretty & all. Just a warning. ;)

Welcome.

I've been tracking Cutler out west since he came into the league... I think he and Marshall will continue to be a dangerous combination for years to come. I wondered about Marshall's ability to fill the top spot after Rod Smith stepped out, but his skill set is impressive to say the least.

That being said, I hope Chris, Chris, and Chuck can shut him down Saturday. Here's to an injury-free game, for both of our postseasons' sake.
