DirecTV or Dish network? WHen I had directv the only time i lost reception was during a very hard rain, like a downpour. Other than that, no problems.

That said, now I have uverse and its great.

Yea, uverse is magical. They gave every free HBO, Showtime, and etc for a week. I recorded all the new movies. Woot.

I lost Directv last night, and the night before due to storms.

But as long as my Internet doesn't go out, I am good. :)

Yeah, when I visit friends and family who have DTV, if there is a storm or heavy rain, the reception is lost. It can be quite annoying if there is an important sports game on.

most likely due to old hardware or poorly installed... depends what kind of signal you get on top of that.

They have just dumped WGN. But hey at least we still have 6 home shopping channels and 3 C-Spans.

Dish Network, dropped TWC when they dropped NFL Network.

Love it.

2 Dual tuner receivers so DVRs on 4 TVs, 2 in Hi_def.

Top 250, HD, Locals, Starz, all for $100 per month. Cant be beat. :biggrin:
