what kind of racquet do you hit with? I have two Head (I hear Beavis and Butthead snickering) racquets that I hit with and really like. I have seen a lot of folks hitting with Babalots and heard good about them. Anyone hit with a Babalot racquet? If so, what is so good about it?

i was actually an amateur tennis player and had all my gear provided for by nike when i was like 13. This isn't as big an accomplishment as it might sound, since they sponsor pretty much every single top junior per region.

I use a Dunlop 200g which are only sold on ebay and are kinda expensive. when i was playing nike would buy them for me and paint them nike colors.

anyway what kind of player are you, what is your game, what is your skill, etc and i can answer this

I started playing about a year and a half ago to get more exercise outside of the gym. My co-worker and I play about 3 - 4 nights a week. He was at one time semi-pro and has played/coached for many years, so I have learned a lot in that time. I do not know how to answer what my game or skill is but if I had to I would say that I may be a little above average. I still tend to hit over the ball quite a bit (I break a shitload of strings) but am getting better at hitting the corners and controlling the ball. I am playing around with the tension of the strings, I seem to be more comfortable with a looser strung racquet, but then again I played tonight with tightly strung racquet and was hitting better than usual - so I dunno.

I live in Mooresville.

well if you can make it into charlotte go to Don's

he's one little guy and he's been there for thirty years. the best way to get a racquet is to try them out. they cost like a dollar a day to rent. hit a bucket of serves and a machine full of ground strokes.

or just go to to a pga superstore or whatever the only way to choose a racquet is to hit with it.

I'll have to do that. Thanks.

Babolat makes a good racquet. I hit with a Wilson (older model Federer used) but that is my personal preference because I love the heavy weight and feel of it. I get my racquets from a tennis pro in Concord because I can try them out for free and pay 1/4 the price of a new one.

    • Give me Anthony Hill Jr or give me death
    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
