I would agree if we werent invested. The fact is though that we committed to bring in 3 rookies last year and we are obligated to see them through. Thats 4 spots which leaves one maybe two for special teams. We already have Wallace Wright and Charlie Martin for that.

Armanti will be ST and if not he shouldn't be on the team at all...Pilares could be on IR or the PS due to his injury and that leaves us with Smith-Gettis-LaFell...we have das room!! :D And we need more help on offense...and if...IF we end up getting Rice or Edwards, that gives Gettis & LaFell more motivation since neither will likely be at slot, thus some good competition and options.

we have no clue what Armanti is or isn't. He is a better athlete than every WR on the roster not named Steve Smith. Don't give up on him before he gets a shot.

Ya Beach, I believe this will be the year we find out if Armanti has anything for us, but its too early. He'll be raw no matter what this year, but at least he'll know the tree.

I'll be the first one to admit I'm impatient when it comes to offensive development. If we for some reason don't get a FA WR, I would think a good season from Armanti would be 15-25 rec, 350 yards.

No thanks, guy reminds me of roy williams on the cowboys, from his game to the fact that he's underachieved his whole career. On top of that he's a diva and gonna want to get paid.

I'd rather see Gettis opposite of Smitty than that guy. Just my 2 cents.
