They are general online forum pictures. I assume they popped up somewhere due to terms like fuuuuuuuuuu and 'troll' etc. that get used frequentley. They have become popular and are now used generally on numerous basic forums mainly due to their ability to allow posters' to express feelings thoroughly yet simply and effectively.
