Did I say I can do better you fuging idiot?????? The fact of voiding his old contract is dumb and no OTHER fuging GM would have did it. How do you get rewarded after being on IR the past fuging two seasons????

You have got to be one of the biggest idiots on this board. You show everyday.

Ignorance must truly be bliss.

You are acting like davis got a huge deal. He didnt. Not even close to being a huge deal. So quit crying like a lil bitch.

8 mil up front is nothing in today's NFL. You'll bitch every time he gets hurt. Guess what. The NFL is pretty hard core. People get hurt all the time. Accept that fact, or stop watching if you cant handle it. Stop acting like you can do better. You don't even have a clue.

Come on... both of you have valid points.

Resigning TD to any decent deal $$$ wise was a risk because of injury concerns.

or

When on the field, TD is a great player, so if the team felt he was healed then the $$$ we resigned him for is a good deal/value.

Sometimes people can disagree, while both opinions are still valid and understandable.

Two acl tears, past two seasons on IR. No other GM would have ripped up his last contract and given him a new one, they would have waited to see how he performed this year, then given him a new contract.

once again....

read this:

here are some critical points from his deal..from Pat in the NFC South Blog:

"The Panthers didn’t want Davis to feel like a victim of that rule, so they made it a point to extend his contract. It now runs through 2015, but there is protection built into this deal in case Davis can’t come back as something close to the player he was before the injuries."

"The real key will be how Davis performs this season. If he fares well, he’ll be well paid going forward. If he struggles, Davis probably won’t be with the Panthers next season. That’s because his deal includes an $8 million option bonus for 2012. If the Panthers pay that bonus, they’ll also be paying bigger salaries to Davis down the road."

"Bottom line here is the Panthers have secured their rights to Davis for the short term. If he’s able to fully recover, he’ll be taken care of for the long term."

No....YOU would not have given him a new contract if you were the GM.

You have ABSOLUTELY no evidence or proof of what ANY other GM would have done.

Typical of your posts.....you throw out your opinion as some form of evidence of something.

Just like everyone else on here (myself included).....you should accept that you don't have a fuging clue.

And you have no evidence any other GM would have, you act like you know poo cause you say you used to work for ESPN big fuging deal, I guess that makes you some sort of expert?

its good they all get injured now instead of mid season forcing everyone to adjust.

this happens every year guys, good players aren't an exception.

sometimes bodies don't adjust well, especially at a faster pace, for whatever reason.

Never said that I did.

I never said that another GM would extend him.....and did not say that they would not have.

You were the one saying that No Other GM would have done this.....which is not fact, but your OPINION.

As usual, logic and a clear thought flies right over your head.

Please try and keep up.
