How some people got their jobs, and how they manage to keep them.

agreed.. and especially when it comes to state run agencies, government, etc...

helped my dad do some work for the NC DOT.. amazing how much time and money was wasted due to incompetence with organization and planning..

everything I've seen from the State points to that being a state-wide problem..

embarrassing really..

I love display of ignorance threads.

I don't understand why someone would tithe money. I also don't understand why people want to believe in ancient folk legends and insist that your stance on the veracity of these folk legends somehow determines one's eternal fate.

I also don't understand televangelism and how sad and pathetic one must be to watch/support it.

I also don't quite grasp how if a traveler moves through a rotating black hole, avoids the singularity, and enters a rotating white hole how the traveler would escape to another universe... theoretically.

I know first hand about getting paid by the state to waste time. I'm doing it now. I'd love to have some work to do for the next ten minutes but alas alack a lass.

yeah, and people wonder why the State needs a larger budget when they are failing to use their money efficiently as it is..

I don't really understand:

How perfectly reasonable and intelligent people can be reduced to hyper-aggressive imbeciles when they turn the key in the ignition of their car.

The general sense of entitlement that pervades this country.

Why people cant seem to accept that not everyone shares their opinions and why that's not only ok but a good thing.

Quantum entanglement.

Why I get up 5 days a week and continue to go to a job Ive grown to really dislike.

Oh and how mathematics can be considered science when it seems to have more in common with religion than geology.

I'm trying really hard to work on this one.

I used to be a real dickbag.

Now I'm.......better.

      FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.

      That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?

      Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
