While rookie QB Cam may have garnered all the headlines and highlights- the real concern is still:

* Veteran O-line that gave up multiple sacks and couldn't open a hole for 2 very good running backs against a mediocre Arizona D-line

* Rookie DTs that are nowhere close to being starting quality

* Lack of a legitimate #2 WR

Kudos up front - Clausen's stats, especially regarding accuracy, was better in Pre-Seaon; hower, he SHINED yesterday! He wasn't perfect, but he played a record-setting game. awesome job, young man!

Now...

1) It was the Cardinals...

2) He's a rookie...

3) Our schedule this year...

'Expectation Management' is a must after this game. He's goig to have some tough/ugly games ahead of him as he develops into an NFL QB.

And let's not forget - bottom line: We Lost! Cam and Smitty, at least, were 2 bright spots!

I agree Cam played great yesterday and can't wait to see what the future holds for the young man.

That being said, we played the Cardinals! Let's see how he does against The Packers this weekend... I am hoping he shreds their secondary and has another monster day!
