The Good, Bad, and Worse.

To avoid using the traditional post game wrap up, I renamed it.I will also avoid talking Cam, since that will likely be done to death anyways, though most of you tuned out as soon as you read that.

Anyways:

Good:

The OL. Man the OL was good in pass protection. Really good. They held up well. For all Cam's greatness, he IS holding onto the ball too long at times. He's gotta get rid of that thing (only Cam mention, I promise). Oh by the way, that Byron Bell guy? He's gonna be good.

Steve Smith. Yeah. Two straight great games. He's elite.

Brandon LaFell. He should be starting, and there is no question about it. He is blossoming as a young stud. He should be starting, unless the slot guy has a more vital role in the offense than the number two. It did when I rented Madden this year, so I guess it's possible.

The D. They played well, for the most part. I will call out the guys who played like garbage here shortly, but they played very good. Shout out to Sione Fua, who bounced back from an atrocious outing last week and played solid this week.

Jonathan Stewart. He should be starting. Love D-lo, but 34 has got to get his heart back in the game. Stop dancing D-lo, and run. Also, Stewy has 100 receiving yards today, and continued to be great in pass protection.

The Bad:

Naanee. He shouldn't be starting. Understand the guy who I said I wouldn't name again overthrew him a few times, but Naanee offers nothing that LaFell doesn't offer, he has maxed out his ceiling and I'm sick and tired of his name being pronounced a different way every time the announcer says it. It has to end.

ST. Eek. Special Teams was bad bad bad today. Being relieved that your KR and PR just held onto the ball is sad enough. Beyond that the return game was horrid. Coverage on kicks was well enough though, including forcing our only TO.

Jordan Pugh. When this man wakes up tommorow morning, he should be giving me my coffee at Mickey-Ds. Think back to the 4 long passing TD's that have happened against us this year. Every single one was a blown assignment bu Pugh. Sherrod played well. Why even stick Pugh in? What do they see in this guy?

D. Yeah. I know I said they played good. They did. But we have to got force some turnover's, even against the league's best.

Ugly:

The run game. It wasn't there. And it's partially the OL's fault. Remember I grouped them in with the Good? Scroll back up. I said their pass protection was good. Run blocking was another story...that said.. Chud has got to commit to the run even when it isn't working like he would hope. It's a must ESPECIALLY IN THE RED ZONE. Lost out on too many points today because we didn't run the ball in the Red Zone. Oh, and D-lo. Love you buddy, but this isn't Dancing With The Stars. You aren't a scat back. Quit acting like one.

Injuries. On both sides, but especially ours. It was ridiculous.

Clay Matthews. Man is that guy ugly.

Smitty's fumble. Absolutely devastating. Could not believe I saw him do that. He's still elite-but that was careless...and may have cost us the game.

The NFL. Worst officiated game I've seen in some time. Stole two scores from us with phantom calls. I don't complain about the refs often..But I will group this in with the 2007 game against Dallas in Week 16, which was just slightly worse than this, because it cost us a playoff berth.

The loss. For the second straight week we fell one yard short of converting a 4th. This has to end. We have to stop leaving points on the field. We'd be 2-0 if we scored as many as we should, but shoulda could woulda....this has to improve.

ESPN Fantasy Football. Cam and Smitty carried fantasy team this week. Cam played in place of Aaron Rodgers, who I refuse to play because he is on the opposing team-but here's the thing. I've got only a slight lead right now on the opponent because ESPN isn't awarding me the points John Kasay scored today, who was my Kicker in place of Kaeding. Kasay went 3/3 and 3/3 on FG's and XP's, respectively, yet, I have nil from him, and that just pisses me off.

I'm sick of losing. So is this team. I'm ready to annihilate Jax next week. Oh. And see Vick divide the ATL fanbase tonight and humiliate them by exposing all the racial division in the fanbase. That will be fun.

I sometimes believe this is also behind a lot of the extreme criticizism towards Cam. Yes, he's good but he has to keep showing us he's worthy or else...In the meantime Sam Bradfords, Matt Ryans and Mathew Safffords of the NFL get by on just playing well.

one thing you said I unquestionably agree with - weve gone from always being a contender for the NFC South title and stomping anyones ass, to simply being pleased that we only lost by 7 and our qb set some strange record- what a friggin joke

I for one aint happy

Well, when u fall as far as the Panthers have what do u expect. Take ur humble pie and keep walking....sheesh...

It's no wonder u the team isn't winning when it's clear that they should have been these past two games...Damn...all that negative karma...Keep believe that it has nothing to do with ur team success..

LaFell looked really good. I really liked how we used Stewart in the passing game in the 4th quarter. We need to use the RB in the passing game more often to keep teams from blitzing so much. Overall, I am happy about some of the progress that was made. Play calling needs to improve, especially in the red zone. Cam needs to learn to bounce back from interceptions. They happen...he just needs to move on afterwards.

And Smitty...WTF???
