Coaches, reality IS setting in: We are 0-2. You can't fool me.

WOAH

A YOUNG TEAM WITH NOTHING BUT UPSIDE HAVING MENTAL ISSUES THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED EVER

The next game is very winable. But it's football, anything happens.

This is all I'm saying. We lose again in the same fashion we did the past two games, it's on the coaches. Period.

And no amount of media coverage of Cam, or excuses of Cam being a rookie, is going to make me think any different.

If we make this many mistakes next week, it's a failure on the part of our coaching staff.

And please stop addressing me like I don't REALIZE our shortfalls.

Like I DON'T know Beason is out. Like I don't get our issues with our O-line. Like I don't understand we could be much better at DT. Like I don't understand we need better coverage at CB.

I have been here discussing these issues. I understand, their significance and their effect on our team. I GET IT!

You think that's what's keeping us from being a winning team and being in contention. That's fine. I just DO NOT AGREE. You do not need to keep repeating all of these things to me, because I am fully aware of them! What you guys don't seem to get, is that I believe we are still capable of winning, this year and should be winning, DESPITE those issues. Despite all of those issues.

All records aside, all praise aside, all excuses aside...reality is starting to set in..the fact is we are 0-2. I don't care what kind of season we're going to have, re-building, practice, whatever....I do NOT want to start 0-3, 0-4 or 0-5 like last year. I still wanna compete and be part of this playoff race, skeptics be damned, or at least win some damn games! I am about as happy as a fan can be at the moment considering his team is 0-2, but come next Sunday, I'm going to get pissed if we sit 0-3.

So speaking of notices, coaches you are on notice: this is all on you and your work. There is no reason why this team can't win some games. You have the weapons. You have a leader. Do NOT think you can hide behind Cam Newton's media orgy and we won't pay attention. This is arguably the easiest opponent we will have for the next 4 games so if you don't want to start the season 0-5 like last year or worse, Sunday is our best chance. I'm not sitting through another season of loss after loss! I will be doing other things with my Sundays if we end up 0-5 again. You HAVE been warned!

Seriously. It really is up to the coaching staff to get this team and its QB ready and eliminate as many mistakes as humanly possible from now to Sunday.

It's time to put in the extra hours if that's what it takes. There's really no excuse, rookie QB or not. Clausen didn't get a break last year, Moore didn't great a break last year, John Fox didn't get a break last year and Cam won't get a break this year either and neither should these guys....rookie or not, inexperienced or not, new coach or not, short training camp or not(all teams experienced it).....WE WANT A WIN ON SUNDAY!

PS: Keep your expectations in check and give some leniency you say? I am....me being excited and positive after our team starting 0-2 is doing just that: being very lenient. That doesn't mean we should also lay down completely.

no one cares if you dont watch the games on sundays...you're a great fan you squid

the difference between this year and last year is that we are actually competitive these first two games.

We have a team that can compete and win, period. We have a team that can go toe to toe with the defending Superbowl champions. And will only get better as the season unfolds.

The last thing I want to see happen is for this team to start clicking when we are mathematically eliminated from the playoff race. I am convinced we will rock the NFC South late in the season.

What I want and needs to happen is get the UGLY wins now, however we can, so we are also playing for something greater than just entertainment later this season.

Oh and just so we are clear on something. Maybe I am not an expert like some of you claim. But I know this much: a win or loss has a LOT more to do with field position and turn overs than any of the reasons on those lists.

You cannot expect even the Patriots to come out with a win when you have a day where you turn the ball over 4 times, you have horrible field position all day long, with the exception of one drive, where our QB has to drive down the entire field while giving GB awesome field position all day long.

Couple that with 4 turn overs, and I'm seriously impressed we only lost by 7 points. That: 4 turn overs and field position has more to do with our loss today than anything else you could possibly break down for me.

And yes that CAN and I EXPECT it to be fixed, in a short a time span, as a week.

We went toe to toe with a the defending Super Bowl champs missing their #1 CB, and their #1 S went out early on. Listen the Panthers are improving absolutely BUT the concept of having the youngest team is we will make mistakes that hurt us, which is what happened today. We don't have the experience/talent (at some spots) to make the playoffs this year.

Everyone on the team is learning a new system add to that, new coaches, rookie QB, rookie DTs, losing Beason, O-Line not playing at full level yet, and we are gonna have some struggles.

Granted you'll probably respond to this saying "excuses, I don't wanna hear them, we should be 16-0."

Either face reality or stop watching. We will win some games here and there, but we will also lose some, some from the other team just being better and some from mistakes made by us.

To single one group out is dumb and shows you know hardly anything about the NFL. The coaches game plan and get the team ready, the players play. It's not on one group it's on all of them.

Who cares? We missed our #1 defensive player and #1 O-man, and our #1 receiver and our #1 and #2 running backs had a crap day along with our #1 QB!

And we still came down to one play from winning the game!

Reality check: You're going to see that every week against anyone we play. Someone will have a guy out. We will get hurt. This is the NFL. The key is to make sure we don't have this many break downs every week, and I honestly do not think it's even realistic to assume that we will. I will be highly surprised to have so many things go wrong on our team on the same day again.

However you spin it, in the end it came down to mistakes. Too many mistakes. That's the coach's department.

The Camhuggers from the offseason are trying to scapegoat our team, including Cam.

Drive that train, keep in mind we have I believe the 2nd best pass offense in the league thus far (only behind Brady), and we are actually putting up points and being competitive.

Yea fug our offense, I want Jimmy back in there.
