Hurney: Pep to New England a "no go"

Where there is smoke, there is fire.

Or weed.

Which is more likely in this case.

Hurney is just saying what he legally is bound to.

Pep and his agent are no doubt in talks with NE, but there's no way Hurney would approve of the trade when all thats on the table is a 2nd round pick.

Bottom line JR isn't going to allow Hurney to unload JP for JUST a friggin 2nd rounder. That isn't going to happen. If It did, hurney should be fired immediately!

Either keep him on the books and make him play or find someone with picks (Plural) including a 1st to trade for him.

    • You could see it on the ice. Rod benched his vodka loving ass in the middle of the year. 100 a liability. I don’t appreciate his time here.  fug him. I hope Boom kicks his ass when we play the sharks next year.
    • I don't have anything to do with whatever he is claiming. Any quote about McCaffrey "hating" it here does not exist that I know of. I'm telling you the reality of the situation based on his family and himself. That he and his family wanted him there and they were thrilled that he was back in an area which his famous athlete father has deep ties to. At the end of the day he would rather be there. That's something you're going to have to reconcile with. And if this franchise stinks so bad and you like him so much well.... there's the door🚪
